The Testino family first opened its doors over 50 years ago back in September of 1956, making Donna's Pizza one of the oldest and most historic pizzerias in America. The family took great pride in perfecting their pizzas and are known for having the best cheese pizza to ever be eaten. They are especially famous for their Sicilian Pie, thanks to all of their hard wok and dedication.
Steven Testino was born and raised in the family business of pizza making and has been quite successful with multiple locations of Donna's Pizza. His cousin, Chef Anton Testino took his career in a less conventional direction when he decided to leave the family business to attend culinary school at the C.I.A. in Hyde Park, NY. From there he began perfecting his craft while working at multiple restaurants before competing in the two biggest culinary competitions in the world, on the small screen. He stood out and shined in Food Network's Chopped and Gordon Ramsay's Hells Kitchen for his daring combinations and unique cooking style, opening the doors to his career for larger and greater accomplishments. Today, Chef Anton owns the fine dining restaurant Axton's, named after his son.
Together these two 1st generation Italian cousins have decided to do what nobody else in their family has done and merge their family tradition with an innovative twist, pouring their passion and business sense into the New Donna's Pizza of Pompton Lakes. Chef Anton has created a one of a kind menu keeping the tradition alive, where you will find all of the Italian Classics that you love as well as discover new dishes stamped with his unique cooking style. Steven & Anton Testino wish to continue to serve pizza and smiles to their community for the next 50+ years and become a part of your family's tradition!
